Room Design Essentials
Room Design Essentials is a focused, entry-level interior design consultation for clients looking for professional guidance for one room, without the need for a more comprehensive design package.
Developed to give you clarity at the beginning of your project, it includes a home visit to understand your space and brief, a considered furniture layout and a tailored moodboard to help establish the overall look and feel of the room.
It is ideal if you are happy to source and manage purchases yourself, but would like expert input on how to make the room work better, feel more resolved and move forward with confidence.
The initial home
visit is complimentary. You only commit if you decide to proceed afterwards.
The Process
01. HOME VISIT & Brief
Your project begins with a meeting at your home, where we walk through the room together and discuss what you would like to improve. We look at how the space currently functions, how you want it to feel, what is already working, and what needs to feel more resolved. We also review any pieces you would like to keep and take measurements as needed.
02. FURNITURE LAYOUT
We create a furniture layout plan that improves the flow of the room and ensures it works comfortably for the way you live, with balanced proportions and ease of movement.
03. Moodboard & DESIGN DIRECTION
We develop a tailored concept moodboard and present it in a video call, alongside the proposed furniture layout. This sets out the overall design direction, including colour palette, materiality, atmosphere and key furniture ideas. One round of revisions is included.
04. Final Design Direction PDF
Once finalised, your furniture layout and design direction are issued as a PDF, giving you a clear foundation for updating your room at your own pace. For detailed product specification with a shopping list with product links, ordering support and physical samples, you can upgrade to our Single Room Refresh service.
Let's Begin
As a new introductory service, Room Design Essentials is currently offered at £600 per room, with additional rooms from £500. Final pricing may vary depending on the size and scope of the room. Most projects are delivered within 2–4 weeks of the initial home visit, subject to studio availability.
If you are based outside London and the Western Home Counties, we also offer a Virtual Interior Design service for clients across the UK and Europe.
