Complete Interior Design
Studio Tiainen provides a structured, full interior design service for residential projects. The studio undertakes both larger home renovations and individual room refurbishments, bringing the same level of care and detail to each.
Working in clearly defined stages, the studio develops spatial layouts, bespoke joinery, lighting design, and fully resolved schemes for furniture, materials and finishes. Designs are communicated through scaled drawings, visuals and samples, providing clarity and supporting a smooth implementation.
Procurement and implementation support can be appointed as additional services, enabling the studio to remain involved during the construction phase and ensure the approved design intent is carried through to completion.

01. Brief & SITE SURVEY
We begin with a detailed briefing process, including an on-site meeting, to understand how you live, what you need from the space and what matters most to you. A measured site survey is carried out to capture the existing conditions, ensuring the design is developed on an accurate and reliable foundation.

These are communicated through drawings, visuals and physical samples to ensure the design intent is clear and decisions are easier to make.
04. FURNITURE & FINISHES
Once the design is agreed, we review and confirm all selected finishes, fixtures, fittings, furniture and lighting with you. A comprehensive specification is then prepared, with each element clearly documented, including supplier details and costs, ensuring the design aligns with the agreed budget.
05. ORDER COORDINATION
If appointed, we manage the ordering and delivery coordination of approved furniture, lighting and finishes. This includes access to trade pricing, supplier liaison, tracking and logistics, ensuring items arrive as specified and at the right time for installation.
06. IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT
The approved concept is developed into a fully resolved design. We refine spatial layouts, bespoke joinery and lighting design, along with carefully considered furniture, materials and finishes. These are communicated through drawings, visuals and samples to support clear decisions.
Every project includes a comprehensive handover pack for your contractor, with technical drawings and specifications required to price and deliver the design. We can also attend an on-site meeting with your contractor to walk through the design and ensure clarity before works begin. Further support can be arranged should you wish the studio to remain involved during the build phase, helping to ensure the approved design intent is carried through to completion.

Based in Buckinghamshire, we work across London and the surrounding counties, including areas such as Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, Beaconsfield, Amersham and Windsor. UK-wide projects can also be undertaken, with order coordination available remotely where full on-site support is not required.
